Steven Be Fibre Safari Downunder August-September 2019 - Workshops in Dunedin/Arrowtown/Christchurch/Auckland/Wellington
Here is a special message from Steven to you as he prepares to pack for
The Fibre Safari Downunder Tour...
Fibre Artist Steven Berg aka StevenBe is a fibre artisan armed with a wealth of experience, daring sense of style, and a firm belief in the transformative power of knitting, or crocheting offers to those brave enough to push the boundaries. Berg began his career early, knitting lines of sequin dresses for a clientele of Barbies in WI. This led him to be a star student in fashion design at Parsons and FIT. Berg found inspiration in the fashion capitals of the world as VP of Design at Perry Ellis. His creative work experiences brought him back to his favourite medium, the one that always inspired him most, the imaginative world of fibre arts. Steven reminds all fibre aficionados: "The possibilities are endless. There are no mistakes, only variations. And always remember to glitter it up!"
You can have a taste of his creativity and talent by clicking here to see all his patterns and designs on Ravelry and clicking here for his website
Steven is from the United States of America and is based in the city of Minneapolis where he owns the incredibly successful StevenBe yarn store which has been named one of the top 10 yarn stores in America. As if that and designing knitting patterns doesn't keep him busy enough Steven also makes time to travel the world on "Fibre Safari's". He uses these trips as an opportunity to educate with hands on workshops where he teaches a variety of knitting, colour and pattern techniques to foster his love of fibre arts while at the same time sharing his life experiences.
I'm very excited to announce that Steven will be heading to New Zealand as part of his "Fibre Safari Downunder" tour in August and September of this year. That tour will feature workshops in Wellington, Dunedin, Arrowtown, Christchurch and Auckland.
